Obituary of Laura Elizabeth Dundas
Laura Elizabeth Dundas, 85, of Beaverton, Oregon, died May 19, 2021 from complications of congestive heart failure. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to E. Ruth North and John F. Wynkoop. She graduated from Oregon State University in 1957, then took a teaching job in Stockton, California. She met her first husband, Ken Cooke, at a Presbyterian Church social. They were married for 15 years. Laura taught first grade at Queen Anne Elementary School in Lebanon, Oregon for 19 years. In 1977 Laura married Tom Dundas, who passed away in 2016.
Survivors include her son John Cooke; her son David Cooke and his wife Jennifer; her daughter Caroline Cook and her husband Jim; and her six grandchildren Erika, Margaret, Levi, Scott, Veronica, and Kevin.
Laura was active in PEO, ADK, the Presbyterian Church bell choir, and the Lebanon Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed going to the Oregon Coast and fishing at Foster Lake.
Laura requested no services. Arrangements have been made by Crown Memorial of Tigard.
