Obituary of Timothy Goff
Tim Goff, age 68 , passed away on Sunday, May 16th, after a short cancer illness. Tim was born June 3, 1952 on the Presidio in San Francisco. He lived a full and eclectic life. One of the original Yippies, he lived in California, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, on a commune in Boston, on fishing boats in Alaska, Washington, Georgia and Oregon. Tim was a Mensa member and an amazingly intelligent, funny and caring man who had a way with all animals. He rose from cook to sous chef in Seattle’s finer hotels and restaurant. He left that life and became a friend of Bill’s before teaching preschool. He then settled on becoming an accomplished self-taught artist.
Tim is survived by his brother, Michael and sisters, Mary Margaret, Mary Therese and Mary Beth and by his beloved nephews Joel and Michael. He is also survived by his life’s love, Patty and cats Stella, Sprite and just recently Granny Cat.
Per his request there will be no service. Tim would want you to just show love to someone.
