Obituary of Lance Herman Johnson
Lance H. Johnson passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2021. Lance was born in Ellsworth, Maine. His family later resided in Caribou, Maine. Lance graduated from the University of Maine and received his Master’s degree from Syracuse University. After retiring from IBM, Lance became VP of Engineering in Oregon and then in California. He was president of the Poughkeepsie Jaycees and was fond of sailing, and water and snow skiing.
Lance is predeceased by his mother, Goldie Johnson, his father, Fredrick Johnson, and his sister, Lucinda Hebert. He is survived by his wife Lillian Fondino (Johnson) of 59 years, his children; Lori Weber (Mark Weber), Lance Jarl Johnson (Michelle Johnson), and Erin Wernli; his granddaughter Cassie Weber; grandsons, Jax Jarl Johnson, and Beckham Johnson; brother-in -law Athill Herbert, and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements will be made at a later date.
