Obituary of Stefan Paul Tyburski
With profound sadness, we announce that Stefan Tyburski, 39, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2021, at home as the result of a sudden onset seizure. He was the beloved husband of Vanessa and devoted father of Lincoln, 4, Stefan Jr., 6, and Ari, 18. He was also a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was so much to so many.
To his children, he was their teacher, often reading to them for hours each day. He also gave them a love of the outdoors - as their adventure guide, he took his children camping, backpacking, and kayaking. He was their role model. He truly embraced fatherhood.
He was raised in Hazel Dell and graduated from Columbia River High School. He also attended Washington State University in Pullman and the Art Institute of Seattle. He was an extremely hard worker, proud Local 26 Union pipefitter, and employee of JH Kelly.
A talented artist, he created many art projects throughout his life. As a child, he was fascinated by gold panning and an enthusiast of the Bigfoot legend. He was a Blazers fan.
Stefan is survived by his wife and best friend, Vanessa, children Ari, Stefan Jr., and Lincoln, parents John and Mary Tyburski, brother Adam Tyburski (Stacey), sister Anna Long (Ian), and niece and nephew Olivia and Owen. He will be profoundly missed by all.
A GoFundMe account has been established to provide immediate living expenses for Vanessa and her children. Donations can be made at https://gofund.me/9584f097
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
