Patricia Lee Ebert 1/3/1936 - 4/19/2021
Patricia Lee Ebert, 85, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on April 19th, 2021.
Pat was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1936 to Samuel Earl and Lois Mansfield. Her early school years were spent at the Academy of Little Flowers in Oceanside, California, and she went on to graduate from Redlands High School where she met her husband Roger Ebert. They were later married June 3rd, 1956. She spent most of her young life in California, later moving to Las Vegas, Southern Oregon, Northern California, British Columbia and finally settling in Portland, Oregon.
Pat had many different careers ranging from medical and dental assistant, restaurant cook, florist, hospital volunteer, librarian and full-time wife and mother. She also managed a full farm in Clearwater, British Columbia with her husband where she raised animals, gardened, worked in the fields, and led a completely sustainable farm to table lifestyle. She was very dedicated to her catholic faith, and loved knitting, crafting, cooking and baking, reading, gardening, sewing and decorating, playing with her dog Quincy, and spending time with her family and friends. She embraced life to the fullest and was always eager to try new things.
She is survived by her daughters Cathy, Karen, Christy and Kimberly, plus her 8 grandchildren, Carissa, Kelsey, Elliot, Evan, Lauren, Ryland, Sophia and Gabrielle, and 6 great-grandchildren, Sarina, Erik, Amelia, Carter, Parker and Remi.
We will forever miss her sharp wit, her amazing sense of humor and her loving support.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on May 13th, 2021 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Oregon Humane Society in Portland, in honor of Pat’s love for animals.
