Obituary of Richard Allen Delaney
Richard Allen Delaney was born on January 7th, 1943 and went to be with the lord on February 28th, 2021 at the age of 78 years old. He fought a long hard battle with M.S.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Patricia Delaney of 48 years, sister Jean Philpott and several nieces and nephews. He also has two sons and a step son.
Richard served in the Navy for 6 ½ years on a mine sweep off the coast of Vietnam. He was honorably discharged as an E5.
He was a diesel mechanic, and there wasn’t a motor he couldn’t fix.
One of Richard’s favorite past times was shopping with his wife and mother-in-law. He loved to go to the casino, watch old westerns, and would listen to any kind of music.
He was a loving man and had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
There will be a private inurnment at Willamette National Cemetery.
