Obituary of Bryant Oliver Wooten
Bryant Wooten, 67 years of age, of Stockton, California passed away on
February 16th, 2021 in Portland, Oregon.
No services will be held.
Bryant was born in Stockton, California on July 3, 1953, to Charles and
Jessel Wooten.
He went to school at Bishop Dagwell Hall in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Western Business College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising.
He worked as a Transaction Sorter for Wells Fargo Bank for sixteen years.
Bryant was a man of faith and was blessed with a beautiful voice. Throughout his life, he was a member of many churches and choirs and performed at various venues in Portland. It was not uncommon to see him in downtown Portland walking and singing his favorite gospel songs. His infectious laugh and beautiful smile were contagious and will be greatly missed by his family.
Bryant is preceded in death by his mother and father Jessel and Charles
Wooten, and grandparents Hannah and Rueble Butler.
Bryant is survived by his siblings: Terrence Wooten, Craig Wooten, Marie
Wooten, Ramona Bradford, and Jon Wooten. He is also survived by
nephews, nieces, great-nieces, a great-nephew, cousins, and in-laws.
