Obituary of Carol Anne Kooistra
Carol Anne Kooistra passed away January 6th, 2021 of natural causes at her home in Lake Oswego, Oregon at the age of 75. Carol was born in Everett, Washington on October 9th, 1945 to Richard Ernest Kooistra Jr and Elvera Madelyn Kooistra (born Johnson).
Carol raised two girls as a single parent, while working full time and going to night school to complete her Master’s Degree. Carol had worked as an Industrial Engineer for Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon.
Carol had a core belief to treat others as you would want to be treated. She had been fierce in her beliefs, was thoughtful, kind, and had a very big heart. Some of her favorite places were Rockaway, Oregon and Mukilteo, Washington.
Carol is survived by her daughters Angela Jones and Alexis Kruse (born Jones), along with her brother, Terry Kooistra and sister in-law Sharon Kooistra. As well as her grandsons, Mitchell and Maxwell.
