Obituary of Linda Faye Donaby
Linda Faye Donaby (nee Perry), the daughter of the late Gladys and Earl Kimble was born October 7, 1949 in Beaumont, Texas. She was the eldest daughter of seven children.
Linda moved to San Diego, California as a teenager and graduated from San Diego Community College. She continued her education to pursue a trade as a Cosmetologyist and earned her license through Bay Vista College of Beauty and started her own Salon - Hair One by Linda. Linda loved children and worked as a Family Services Worker at Head Start.
Linda was a bright light and an amazingly comforting spirit who touched everyone who was blessed enough to be in her presence. To know her was to love her and she will always and forever be remembered for the unconditional love she displayed from the heart.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories her life partner, John F. King, her four sons; Kendrick Wilson of Soledad, CA, Peter Ervin of Beaverton, OR, Jamar Perry of San Diego, CA and Tarrique Edwards of Portland, OR, her nine grandchildren (Ashley Wilson, Keyanna Wilson, LaShanette Starks, Kenya Linda Ervin, Kendrick Ervin, Shemaiah ERvin, Olivia Perry, Jaazier Perry, and J'rayah Perry), five great-grandchildren, her siblings Vivian Brown of Aloha, OR, Dexter Perry, Deborah Kimble, Shuma Kimble (Gladys), Mary Nolin-Kimble, all of Houston, TX. She also leaves to mourn countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her brother George Kimble preceded her in death.
