Obituary of Betty June Clark

Betty J. Clark, 81, of Salem Oregon, passed from this life into eternal life with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

Betty was born to Herman and Bonnie Kirk on October 12, 1939 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Betty moved to Springfield Oregon with her parents, two brothers and four sisters at a young age. She graduated from Springfield High School and worked full time as a bookkeeper while raising her 4 children, whom she loved dearly. Betty moved to Portland when her children were older and met her husband Terry, who was the love of her life. The two later moved to Salem where they continued to reside at the time of her passing.

Betty was a strong woman and was known to be very stubborn, which got her through some of her toughest life challenges. She had a generous heart, was compassionate and loved spending time with her family.  Some of her favorite pastimes were decorating her house, putting together puzzles and reading. Betty also made some great memories during her travels with her husband Terry.

Betty was preceded in death by her son Scott, and is survived by her loving husband, Terry, and their children Les (Tonia), Randy (Kimberly), Denise, Theresa (Todd) and Deanna as well as two sisters, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Thank you, mom, for all the sacrifices you made and your unconditional love. You will forever be loved and never forgotten.

Betty will be buried at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland Oregon. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
