Obituary of Linda Lee Douglas
Linda Lee Douglas
November 29,1941-December 23, 2020
Linda Lee Douglas, of Portland, Oregon went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 23, 2020, with her family at her side. She was born to Lewis and Doris Morey on November 29, 1941. The family lived in Salem, Oregon where she graduated from South Salem High School in 1960.
She was the beloved wife of forty-seven years to her husband, Ron. Together they blended their families together to create a fun-loving home for all of their children. They worked hard to build a construction business and tiny homes. Linda loved to learn, she earned an associate degree in Gerontology, which led to a new career in Assisted Living. She loved studying the Bible, cooking, baking special cakes and cookies for family and friends. She also enjoyed photography. She found pleasure in looking at pictures to make them into family albums. One of Linda’s favorite places was the beach and she loved watching the sunset with family. Next time you are at the beach send her a prayer.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Brian Wabs, Carrie Hass of Portland, Stephanie Adams from San Diego, CA and Tami Niskanen from Vancouver, WA; nine grandchildren: Christopher, Kara, Lindsey, Zack, Sam, Gabe, Whitney, Cassie, and Jake; six great-grandchildren, Nolan, Sawyer, Easton, Addilyn, Summit, and Olivia. Linda taught us the power of unconditional love, forgiveness, kindness, power of the Bible, and family. We will carry her light with us always!
