Obituary of Dora Lee Campbell
Dora L Campbell passed away in her home in Portland Oregon on January 2, 2021.
Dora served in the Army for 4 years and received the highest medal as a Marksmen.
Dora was one of the first Black Women business owners in the Portland Metropolitan area. She worked as a Barber for over 50 Years. She owned Dora's Deluxe Barber Shop,which was located on Williams Avenue, she moved her shop to Alberta Street when Portland started its redevelopment of the Williams Avenue neighborhood.
Dora was the mother of four living children, June, Marva, La Jean, Michael and 2 children who preceded her in death, DeAndre and Blake. She leaves to morn her passing a host of Grand Children,Great Grand Children, Great Great,Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
