Obituary of Margaret Isabel Wilson

Margaret Isabel Hall began her adventures in Oakland CA on November 9, 1949. After graduating in 1967 she set off for new adventures in Oregon. She then pursued an education in early childhood development, got married and had four children. She worked with children of Oakridge and Westfir Oregon for 30 years- they would know her fondly as Mrs. Putnam or Mrs. Wilson.

She was a lover of music, painting, plants and birds. She was a hippie at heart and lover of all. She enjoyed her friends and her life included uncountable camping trips which were always a caravan affair and created many fond memories for everyone involved. She loved nature and the woods and missed her town of Oakridge when she had to leave in 2015 for the city.

She moved to Portland where she was close to all of her kids and many grandchildren. Since Multiple Sclerosis took much of her abilities she went from reading Outlander to listening to it. (She loved James Fraser before it was trendy). She went from dancing, playing pool and softball to cruisin the town in her scooter. She found a way to enjoy the little things.

She left for the best adventures yet on October 16, 2020 with her family by her side. She died of COVID-19. She would ask that you please do your part to stop the spread and wear a damn mask!

She is survived by her 4 children, 10 grandkids and a sister.

Wherever she may be we hope she is listening to bagpipes, getting stoned and enjoying Taco Bell for eternity.
