Obituary of Louis Ray Orman
Louis was born March 23, 1936 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Dan & Lucy Orman. He passed away on September 30, 2020 in Salem, Oregon at the age of 84. He grew up in Arkansas and eventually moved to Oklahoma where he met and married Jo Wanda & had 2 children. In 1966 they moved to Salem, Oregon where they would raise their family. Louis worked for many years at the Overhead Door Company.
In his spare time, he loved to build & sell furniture & create various wooden board games for his children. He also loved to tell funny jokes such as “Why are you so good looking, cause you’re kin to me” He was a wonderful, funny, creative, hardworking father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, family member & friend. We will always love and miss him forever..
Louis had many hobbies such as singing Karaoke, gardening, bargain hunting, working on cars & much more. Every morning he loved to walk 2 miles inside the Lancaster mall....
He is survived by his daughter Tammy(Tim) Lenz, son Louis Wayne(Susan) Orman
, grandchildren: Heather(Curtis) Little, Ashley(Anthony) Michel, Eric Fetzer, Chad Orman, great-grandchildren: Kiera Gregory, Collin Little, sister Lois Orman & many other family & friends. “May the good Lord keep him in his loving arms “
Louis will be buried next to his wife Jo Wanda at the” Stipp Memorial Cemetery, Macleay Rd, Salem, Oregon 97317”
