Obituary of Terry Jay Thompson

Terry Jay Thompson

Oct 17, 1968 to Sept. 25, 2020

Born in Portland OR.

Father Wiley Thompson and Mother Judy Kay

Terry served in the US Marine Corp for two terms he went to the Desert Storm War during those to those 8 yrs.

Then Terry Decided to go back into the service and this time went int The Army National Guard. He served two terms and this time went to Iraq and then went on top secret missions in Iraq a second time. He was very good at his job in the service and enjoyed serving our country.

When he came home from these wars he went on to give hours of his time to help at the VA doing any that was needed to help other veterans.

Terry was a very religious man; he went to a catholic church wherever his feet may have landed him. He wanted to live by the word. He helped at local food banks through his church. He always had a smile and was ready to help in any way he could.

Terry felt if he was helping others he was putting a smile on their face and that made him feel like he was doing good things. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He would give you his last dollar if it would help you.

Terry has so many family members that there is no way to list them all. Please do be offended if your name is not listed . He loved you all very much. Each and everyone of you was so important to this man.
