Obituary of Ann Christine Babb
On Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, Ann Christine Babb, loving mother, passed away at the age of 75 in Portland, OR.
Ann was born on June 23, 1945 in Ft. Worth, Texas to James and Zelma Adams. She moved to Oregon City, OR as a small child and then to West Linn OR. She attended Marylhurst University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Development and Education.
Ann loved everything about the arts. Singing was her greatest passion. She was a voracious reader, often reading 3 or 4 books at a time. She also made it a point in her life to always learn and appreciate other cultures. She lived an interesting life, with her travels taking her to Japan, Oak Harbor, WA, Goldendale, OR, Washington, DC, Oslo, Norway, Copenhagen, Denmark, Vienna, Austria, Pahoa, HI, Lacey, WA, Estacada, OR, and Portland, OR. She loved nature and being outdoors. She did many types of volunteer work, including working for a Crisis Hotline and the Wildlife Refuge in Nisqually, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Zelma, and her husband, Kenneth Babb. She is survived by her brothers, Jim Adams, Steve Adams, and Craig O’Connor, her daughter, Alisha Tallon and, her four grandchildren, Harley, Connor, Mar, and Vance Tallon.
