My husband and I met Bill bowling at the Milwauie Elks and that was a gift to us. He was always encouraging and he had a great sense of humor that he shared with everyone. I bowled on his last team along with his daughter Julie. I will remember him alway He was much loved by his family and friends and will always have a place in our hearts.......Judy & Jerry Craig

Bill was a one in a million and in all the time I knew him I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. We were bowling buddies and golfing buddies, and when we golf and kick the ball back into the fairway we will look up and say" bill Thorpe rule". We all will all miss you, and we loved every minute we were with you . Thank you for always making us smile. I will always have a spot in my heart for you.
Your admirer,
Henry

Remembering your kindness and sincere interest towards me as a youngster and interest in my children when I became a Dad. Your sports knowledge will be missed, as well as humor! Watching Joe Namath win the Super Bowl at your house, as well as playing hockey (with golf clubs) with my cousins and siblings in your basement. It impressed me that you and Aunt Louis always made time to participate in our family events. Rest in peace until the nephews meet up with you on the other side. Thank you for your great examples. Your nephew, Dave Bigej.
