Obituary of Jackie Lee Martin
Jaqueline Lee Taylor Dexter Lanig Martin passed away at home in Albany
Oregon, on Saturday September 5, 2020. Jackie was born on August 18,
1941 to Elwood Nairn Taylor and Helen Maxine Buell Taylor in Dallas,
Oregon. Jackie married Lawrance Dean Lanig Sr on 9/5/1959 in Dallas,
Oregon, they later divorced on 8/8/1972. Jackie’s second marriage was
to Melvin Leroy Martin on 10/26/1973 in Reno, Nevada and they made
their home in Albany for 40 years until his death on 1/28/2012.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother Helen Buell Taylor Dexter
(1920-1992),step father Orin George Dexter, (1918-2004) father Elwood
Taylor (1917-2002), former husband Larry Lanig Sr (1938-2011), husband
Mel Martin (1941-2013), her oldest Son Lawrance Dean Lanig Jr
(1960-2014); her older sister Lois Maxine Taylor King Dhabolt
(1939-1985), brother Lawrence Wayne Taylor (1943-2010).
Jackie is survived by, Lorie Wisecup Lanig (widowed wife of Larry
Lanig Jr) and her children and grandchildren, Terry Michael Lanig, his
partner Lisa Iverson and her children and grandchildren of Albany,
Sheila Jaqueline Lanig Oleman and her husband Daniel Oleman of
Lebanon, OR, two step sons, Craig Martin, Oakland, OR, Don Martin,
Roseburg, OR, brother Charles E Taylor, Medford, OR, sisters LaVerne A
Dexter Call, Reno, NV, Derryll Rae Dexter, Hood River, OR, Orina G
Dexter of Brenda, AZ; grandchildren Shiree Lanig, Michelle Oleman
Bergara, Terry Lee Lanig, Kevin Lanig, Eric Oleman, Katelynn Lanig
Hill; and great grandchildren Kloey Bergara, Ethan Lanig, Tayven
Bergara, Hunter Lanig, Zoey Fox, Brooklyn Hill, Clayton Hill; and
also by her domestic partner of the past 3 years, Elton Kramer.
A service is planned for 12:00 noon Saturday Sep 12, 2020 at
Willamette Memorial Park, 2640 Old Salem Road NE. Albany Or. Reception
following at Jackie's home in Millersburg.
