Jan was born Alma Jenette Wilkinson, June 17th, 1951.
Jan passed away on August 9,2020
Jan was born to Clarence and Dorothy Wilkinson in Seattle, Washington she attended Girls Polytechnic in Portland, and was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Jan was a licensed insurance broker for most of her career and most recently worked as an employment specialist at Goodwill in Portland assisting individuals to obtain employment.
Jan was an accomplished artist whose favorite subject was Betty Boop and was inspired by was Thomas Kinkade. Jan was a member of Hillsboro art group Paint and Palette.
Jan was a loving and caring wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Mark A Murphy, sisters Linda Clark and Treasa Johnson, stepchildren Mark Jr and Tonya Murphy, Tamera and Ron Dunkin and many nieces and nephews as well as many step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Vickie Belshaw.
