Obituary of Belva M Haynes
Belva Mae Haynes was born on Oct 2-1937 in Newport, Oregon, and died in Salem hospital on June 29-2020. She was 82. Her parents were Arthur and Adelia Haynes, she was the only girl. She had four brothers; Arthur, Alvin, Benjamin and James. after her dad died when she was a little girl, her family moved around a lot. When she was 21, she married Gene Wheeldon, and they had three kids; Karen, John and Daniel. John died when he was a baby. Karen died when she was 36. Belva also had two grandkids; Elizabeth Wheeldon, who died when she was just 18 years old, and Derik Wheeldon. Her last job was as a caregiver in The Dalles area. She moved to Salem, Oregon, in 2010 and and liked going to the Hopewell seventh day Adventist Church, visiting friends, and having potluck. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her, as she touched many hearts.
