Obituary of Alfred Edward Doten
Alfred (Al) Edward Doten, 75 passed away on June 25, 2020, at home. He was the husband of Jerilyn Doten. They shared 54 years together. Born in San Jose, CA, and was the son of Alfred Isaac. and Katherine Doten. He attended and graduated from San Jose High School. He served in the Army National Guard for 7 years. He loved his family, his dog, but most of all the Lord. He loved to watch his grandkids play baseball, and follow them in their various activities. He was passionate about his country and his faith. It was his faith in Jesus that gave him such peace. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jerilyn, his children Kara, Maureen, and Steve; Grandchildren Tamara, Thaddaeus, Tori, and Kaiden. his sister, Alice, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfred and Katherine Doten, and his sister, Nora. Al was buried on July 4, 2020, at Claggett Cemetery, Keizer, OR.
