Obituary of Larry Wayne Chambers
Larry Wayne Chambers passed away, at the age of 76, on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 after a long illness. He was born March 19th, 1944, adopted by his loving parents, Ralph and Myrna Chambers when he was 5 years old.
He was known as “Larry the Barber” to many.
Larry was a man who embraced and loved life. He loved his wife, his family, his friends, and the mountains. His compassion, his love, convictions made the man he became. He had many occupations but especially barbering and his passionate work with horses. He was a creative man no matter what he took on it was amazing, his leatherwork, his ability to remodel our home and his ability to solve a problem and create the solution. He loved to go up into the mountains whether to hunt, explore, or on a trail drive with his friends. He always let each person know how much he cared about them. He had an infectious smile and a beautiful soul. He was a good and loving man. Larry has touched each of our lives and left footprints on our hearts. He will be missed.
Larry was proceeded in death by his father Ralph L. Chambers, his mother Myrna Chambers, his son Ralph L. Chambers III, and his daughter Tina R. Chambers. Survivors include his loving wife Carole Gene Chambers of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, son Anthony Chambers, wife Debbie of Jonesborough, TN, son Adam Wade Chambers of Berkley Springs, WV and brother Terry Chambers of Fayetteville, AR., his nephews Drew Chambers and wife Emma of Wenatchee, Washington and Shawn Chambers of AR. also his stepchildren, Mark Chudy, Stacey McGee, Terri Grissom, and their children. He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At this time there will be no service, but later a celebration of life will be planned. Instead of flowers, a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project, would be appreciated...
