Obituary of Keith B. Walker

Keith Bradley Walker, 62 of Salem, Oregon passed away on May 6th after a valiant battle with kidney cancer. He was surrounded by friends and loved ones at the time of his passing. 

 

Keith was born on May 23, 1956 to Ira & Carol Walker in Sacramento, California. He moved to Silverton, Oregon in 1969. After graduating from Silverton High School in 1974 he studied Music at Mount Hood Community College. and Building Codes 1-3 later at Chemeketa Community College as well as studied Computers at UAA- University of Alaska Anchorage.

 

Keith worked at Blazer Industries for over 15 years. He went to Alaska with a Church group to build a Church and did various fishing work in Alaska for several years. He was a Assistant Manager at Apartments complexes for 10 years with his wife Sabrina and worked at Goodwill for 6 years. He was passionately involved in Worship Ministry of Music for over 30 years.

 

Keith met his beloved wife Sabrina Walker in 1991 in Salem, Oregon and they wed on  December 19 Th of 1992. They also moved to Germany in 1997 and lived there for 5 years before returning to Oregon. They had 4 small dogs- Angel, Shadow, Simba and Mickey. 

 

Keith is predeceased by his parents Ira & Carol. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 29 years, Sabrina, his sisters Kathleen & Sheri, his daughters Harmony, Melody & Stefanie and grandchildren Samuel, Evelyn, Aiden, Rosy & Chadian. He also has three step-children, Patric and his wife Alicia, Sabina, Christopher and step-grandchildren Cody, Taylor & Kelsey.  

 

Keith had many hobbies and interests including music, playing the guitar, dancing, carpentry, going to the coast, fishing, an avid outdoors man, riding horses, reading the Bible and had love for God, also playing some video games. Of all the people he touched, or that touched him, his most proud achievement in life was marrying his wife Sabrina who supported him in all his glory during his best day's, and never ending loving support for him physically during his last days together.

 

A Memorial Service in his honor will be set up at a later date following a Celebration of Life, as requested by Keith and his wife, Sabrina. Flowers, donations and tree planting for tribute to Keith are welcome and very appreciated.
