Obituary of Virginia Lee Cordrey
Virginia Lee Cordrey was born February 29th, 1932 to Howard and Marie Thomas (Bennett). She graduated from Hilhi, class of 1950. She married Robert Cordrey soon after graduation and together they had 4 children: they later divorced. Virginia lived in the Hillsboro area most of her life and attended the Presbyterian Church. She spent many years working in the food industry and was always known for being a hard worker. Virginia is survived by children Bobbie Oppenlander (Marty), Joyce Heideman, Mike Cordrey (Monica) and sister Donna Wolfe. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Larry Cordrey and granddaughter Jessica Cordrey. Virginia passed away peacefully March 3rd, 2020 at age 88. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
