Ethel Kluver

Obituary of Ethel Belle Kluver

Belle was born on the family homestead in Bison, South Dakota on September 20, 1928, to Oscar and Leola Applegate Fink.   In 1943 her family moved to Idaho Falls where she attended high school.   After working for a couple of years she married Walter Kluver and they had four children; Dan, Jerry, Teresa, and Lois.

Belle was an inspiration for living in the moment, having no regrets and always moving forward.   While she was very frugal for herself, she was generous to others.  Belle learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and honesty as a young girl and passed that along to her children.  She had a mischievous sense of humor that was used often with medical staff in her last months.

Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Leola Fink, five of her sisters: Bertha, Joyce, June, Margaret, Pearl and her son Jerry.

She is survived by her son Dan Kluver (Shirley), daughters Teresa Kluver (Glenn), and Lois Summers; grandchildren Gary Kluver, Dustin Kluver, Randy Kluver, Tammy Ghiai, Kara Estep, Katy Summers, and 14 great-grandchildren, her sisters Bernice and Myrtle as well as many nieces and nephews.

Belle will be missed and her memory cherished by all who loved her.

At this time, Belle’s Celebration of Life will be postponed until further notice.
