Obituary of Harriet Margaret Richardson
Harriet was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Walt and Mabel Faron. She was the oldest of four children. She earned her first nursing degree in August 1959. Harriet married Robert Richardson Sr. in January 1960. Bob and Harriet moved to Beaverton Oregon shortly having being married. Harriet earned additional degrees in Nursing and Business. Harriet has four children.
Harriet spent 40 years working in the nursing industry. While still working in nursing, Harriet opened a custom picture framing shop. Upon retiring from nursing, Harriet worked at the framing shop full time until she sold it in 2013.
Harriet's hobbies include counted cross stitch and reading.As an 8th grader, Harriet started recording all the books she read. At the time of her passing, she had read 4936 books.
Survivors include her son, Robert Richardson Jr, daughter Lori Houlette, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Walt Faron and Mike Faron, and several nieces and nephews. Harriet was pre-deceased by her husband Robert Richardson Sr., sons Greg Richardson and Bill Richardson, her parents Walt and Mabel Faron, and her brother Robert Faron.
There will be no service.
