Obituary of Richard Irven Slack
Richard passed away in the early hours of February 4th at the age of 67 at his home in Salem. He was the son of Oscar and Mildred Slack, born October 8, 1942 in Roseburg, OR. He graduated from High school in Eugene and raised his children in the Willamette Valley. He was a maintenance supervisor for Shangri-La Corporation and a Park Ranger for Lane County. Richard is survived by his sons Steven Slack of Salem, Mathew Slack of Portland; daughter Heather Faaitiiti of Salem; grandson Marcus Faaitiiti and granddaughter Elena Harris. A service will be held 12:00 noon Monday, February 8, at Crown Memorial Center, 412 Lancaster DR NE, Salem.
