Obituary of Peggy Joce Roberts
Peggy passed away in the early hours of November 21, 2009 in Salem, OR at the age of 79. She was born April 16, 1930 to Mark and Gladys Thornton in Monte Cristo, CO. As a teenager she moved to Oregon, where she spent the rest of her life. Peggy loved crocheting, her flowers and she was a faithful and active member of the 7th Day Adventists. Peggy is survived by her daughters Jerry Badger, and Pat Dunn; sonVern LaDow; sisters Phyllis Benter, Ima Jean Watkins, Betty Kites, Bertha Hartman, Cora Lee Farrell, Linda Lambert; brother Raymond Thornton; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Richard Thornton; sisters Jane and Leona; and grandsons Jeremy and Ted Miller. Peggy will be greatly missed.
