Obituary of Patricia Lois Walker

Patricia Lois Scott Walker (Murray) was born in Sandy, Oregon to parents John Raymond Murray and Hazel B. Beers on November 24, 1930. She grew up in the Mt. Hood area including time in Coulee City, Washington, Rhododendron, Oregon and Sandy, Oregon. She graduated from Sandy High School and later attended one year of college at Oregon State University. In 1952 she moved to Portland where she remained until moving to Molalla in 1985 where she remained until her death. She married James William (Bill) Scott on April 15, 1950 and together had two children: daughter Christy and son Kelly. Bill passed away on February 24, 1975. Patricia married her second husband, Darrell E. Walker in June of 1998 and added his two children; Gayla and John to the family. Darrell passed away on April 15, 2007. Patricia worked as a waitress and as a secretary during her working years. She loved animals, playing cards, jazz music, theatre and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and wife who cherished her family. Patricia passed away on April 23, 2012 in Oregon City, Oregon from cancer at the age of 81. She leaves behind her daughter Christy Lovgren of Hermiston, Oregon; son Kelly Scott of Brightwood, Oregon; brother Michael G. Murray of Crooked River Ranch, Oregon; step-son John E. Walker of Dallesport, Washington; step-daughter Gayla Almond of Spring, Texas; cousin Eilene Rafferty Lambdin of Stockton, California and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents John Raymond Murray and Hazel Beers Murray; first husband James William (Bill) Scott; second husband Darrell E. Walker and brother Hollis Murray. A memorial service will be at Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Oregon on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00pm. Donations suggested to the Oregon Humane Society.
