Obituary of Marylou Cox
Marylou Cox was born Marylou Jacobs in Silverton, Oregon to parents Lewel and Gladys Jacobs on August 16, 1941. She was raised in Silverton, OR and Lincoln City, OR. Marylou married James Herrin on April 4, 1960 and was with him until his death in September 1974. Marylou was a stay at home mother who enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. She passed away in her home in Canby, Oregon from cancer at the age of 70 on March 30, 2012. She is survived by her daughter Juanita Reyes of Canby, OR; daughter Caryl Martin of Canby, OR; daughter Dawn Johnson of Molalla, OR; son Jason Herrin of Canby, OR; sister Caryl Templin of Florence, OR; brother Lew Jacobs of Sweet Home, OR; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James Herrin; son Travis Herrin; mother Gladys Hensley and father Lewel Jacobs. There will be a private celebration of life.
