You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Grandpa you will be missed...you will always be in our hearts and live forever with Grandma. You have touched more people than you know, you have left more people than you think. May you have found peace. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. i love you !!! and miss you and i am sorry i did not get to say good bye!!

Dad I will miss you so much. You and mom were the parents that others envied us for. Thank you for allowing me the freedom to be me; and the love and laughs that you gave all of us. I would have liked to have spent more time together, but life, to often, took me to other lands. Love forever! Dennis

Mace, Thanks for being the extra Dad that so many of us needed as teenagers. For listening when we needed it, for speaking out when we needed it and for telling us we were full of it when we needed that, too. All of us have a family of birth and a family of choice. Thanks for allowing me to choose yours.

Macey worked for us at Animal Specialties driving our semi-truck loaded with "monkey food" to Seattle most weeks. He left on Monday mornings or sometimes Sunday nights and he stayed at the Silvercloud motel in Tukwila WA because the job called for one night on the road. One week Bill (the owner of the company) made the run because Macey and June went on vacation. When Bill arrived at the motel and parked the truck in the parking lot another driver who had the same schedule as Macey came around to the back of the truck and wanted to know who was "messing around" with Macey's truck!! Bill assured him that all was well and that Macey would be back the following week. As was our custom way back then Bill presented a company check to pay for the nights stay at the motel. The clerk would not accept the check and Bill asked why since it was the same check presented every week and there had been no problem up until now so what was the issue...the clerk said that he couldn't ok it because Macey didn't hand it to him. Bill was taken aback and pointed out that HE was the signer on the check. We got a big chuckle out of that one!! Macey was a loyal employee. And, we are so blessed to have had him in our lives. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
