Obituary of Gary Laine Classen
Gary Laine Classen, 58, of Gresham was born in Astoria, Oregon. He graduated from Astoria High School then graduated from the University of Oregon School of Nursing. He married his wife, Vicki on August 14, 1976. Gary worked as a nurse at Adventist Hospital and continued his career as a dialysis nurse for Fresenius Medical Group. He enjoyed running, backpacking, fishing and motorcycle riding. Gary loved God and shared his faith with all. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; daughter, Emillie Niblack and her husband Tim; Mother, Marge Classen; sister, Sandra Makela and her husband Rick.
A memorial service will be held at 7pm Sunday, April 1 at Greater Gresham Baptist Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Greater Gresham Baptist Church for missions.
