James Kenneth Stobaugh, Sr.
May 27, 1926-January 23, 1012
James Kenneth Stobaugh died on January 23, 2012. He was 85 years old. He was the second child born to James and Lillian Stobaugh on May 27, 1926. He grew up and attended school in Scappoose, Oregon. At age 18, he enlisted in the Navy, and fought in World War II. He married Elaine Lemoine Miller in 1956. In 1959 he started his business, Jim Stobaugh Construction. He was a loving and kind man who enjoyed his family, woodworking, music and flowers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Elaine and his sister Jane White. He is survived by his children, Sharon, Jim and Diane; his 7 grandchildren; and his 8 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was held for him Monday, January 30, 2012 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Oregon City, Oregon. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center Milwaukie.
