Obituary of Coralie Mae Harker

Coralie Mae (Brandon) Harker passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2012 and is reunited with Lloyd Harrison Harker, her husband of 60 years. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When she was young, her parents moved to Alamosa, Colorado where she eventually met her future husband. Coralie raised her children with Lloyd, in Aurora, Colorado, before the couple retired to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She worked many years as a telephone operator. She had a special way with pets. And she loved growing lilacs and columbines. She was a much loved Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Two years ago, she move to Aloha, Oregon to live with her youngest son and his family. She is survived by her children, Jon Harker (Ann), Scott Harker (Gloria), Alicia Williams (Steve) and Eric Harker (Loisa); brother, Carl (Vida); grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Stephen, Patrick, Cassandra, Christopher and Maria; and great grandchildren, Kaylie and Connor. A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar, Colorado on Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ of Hillsboro on February 11 at 1 p.m. A reception follows at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Project POOCH, Animal Aid Inc. or any local animal rescue group. Arrangements by Crown – Portland.
