Obituary of Sebastian Reyes Moreno

Sebastian was born in Fullerton, California on January 20, 1931 and passed away in West Linn, Oregon on January 12, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Inez Cota Moreno and his son Jerry, his brother Diego and sister Margaret. He is survived by his children Gilbert, Vincent, Lydia Gallegos and Sophia Matthew. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his siblings Manuel Moreno, Virginia Thomas, Ray Moreno, Andie O’Dell and Thomas Moreno. Sebastian was born and spent most of his life in Fullerton, California. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He also served on the planning commission for the city of Fullerton for many years and helped with Fullerton’s sister city in Mexico, Morelia. He began working at Disneyland in 1955 and worked there until his retirement 38 years later. He was a decorator and supervisor who was dedicated to the work he loved. He will always be remembered for his wit, wealth of encouragement and knowledge. He was even more dedicated to his family and was dearly loved. His courageous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
