When my daughter Tammy was a child, her sister's nickname was Punkin Doodle. Tammy's was Tammy Lamby. Tammy decided she wanted a new nickname. We told her to pick it. She picked Tammy Lamby Good Girl Spinach Book. She said she was a good girl and she loved spinach and books. Last week Terri and I were in Arizona. We got a call from my daughter D'enne. She told us that Tammy had an asthma attack and passed away. We flew to Portland to be with D'enne's family and to make arrangements for Tammy. Tonight we will gather with Tammy's husband and her friends. We want to thank everyone for the many condolences we have received. If you want to do something in Tammy's memory, tell those in your life how much you love them, and think of Tammy. If you have a memory of Tammy, please share it here.

Dear Dean, D'enne, Ray, Michael and Matthew, We are stunned by this heart-wrenching news. Your family had endured so much loss and sorrow. But we know that God will comfort and hold you in the palm of his hand. I always think of your family with affection. I loved talking with Margie, and watching the girls grow up. Dean, you were always such a supportive and loving father/husband. I used to think of my own father, since he had four (2 X 2) daughters living in a house with one bathroom! Dean, you had more patience. Your family was very warm and close. You have so many memories of good (and other) times together. Let those memories glow in your heart. Bob and I will pray for your continued well-being. I told David about Tammy at church today. I can email Tom and Amy Stewart, too. Love and hugs for all, Donna Lawson
