May our Father God, through Jesus Christ His Son, our Saviour, keep you, comfort you, encourage and strengthen you and give you His peace that passes all understanding. Thomas was a good son, brother, and I know a blessed husband and father, and he was my friend since I was five years old. I first met the Bridgmans when they rented a duplex from my uncle, Ted Swaffield, on Alessandro, Banning. To this day, Herb and I are like brother and sister. You and your family are in my prayers, Vickie. The Lord is faithful and will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory. I am also praying for your health. Herb shared with me. God keep you in all your ways, for His glory, honor and praise. My beloved husband, Victor, extends his condolences to you and yours, as well. With Love, Carol Theotig

It has been an honor to know and enjoy Tom, Vickie, Brad and Brett for the past thirty three years as this family has blessed our neighborhood. I am just glad that Tom and I have had so many great times together, learning from each other and sharing a laugh or two. Tom, we know that you are with your Lord; put in a good word for us. Vickie is in good hands; we are there for her. Tom, you might be out of our sight but not out of our thoughts and memories.

When I think of Tom, I always see him smiling….or laughing. We used to laugh a lot together, sometimes, unstoppable laughter. Tom was my soft place to land…everything was alright in my world just knowing he was in it. Now that he is in Spirit, I know he is still watching over us. He was someone we definitely wanted to emulate……never a cross word, always a kind word, and a wonderful, generous, loving human being. Tom, you were thoroughly loved and will be thoroughly missed. You’ve left a huge void in our lives…..but, you can bet we’ll be reminiscing about the good ‘ol days, which you loved to do. You’ll always remain forever in my heart.

I feel so fortunate to have you as a dad. You were always a positive, strong, generous, kind, loving and very humorous dad, and I appreciate every one of those great qualities of you. I'm so proud of you dad! I will miss you. Your grandaughters adored you, and we have all began to notice the stars a little differently now. I love you dad, and thank you for being you.

Well, Dad, I'm going to miss you. It hurts not having the chance to have said goodbye to you. You were always there to support me, with whatever I've needed. You are the most good-natured and friendly man I've known, you are a good man. Hopefully I'll have the chance to see you again, maybe play some golf or cards, the fun stuff with family. I'll never forget you, and if ever I'm fortunate enough to have a wife and kids of my own, they'll know you well, too. Thanks, Dad, I'll always love you!

I did not know Tom for long. I had moved into the neighborhood a little over 7 years ago after marrying Jo Ann. But Tom's presence was felt everyday as he and Vicki would pass by the house twice a day on their daily walks. If I was in the yard working and didn't happen to notice them, Tom would always give a shout out " How you doing Lou?" He always have a smile on his face and then he would say," Nice to see you again". It always cheered up my day. The neighborhood will miss you Tom. Lou Scholz

I am so grateful to have met you Tom. I will always remember your wonderful smile, what a great Grandfather you were and how you would always look with love at your granddaughters and tell them how smart and beautiful they are. How you always made me feel like I was a part of the family from the moment we met, how you loved playing cards and talking about Canada and the U.S.A. Thank you for teaching me how to play hearts. I have so many lovely memories playing cards with Tom, Vickie and Brad and spending holidays together in Portland.

My memories of Tom are of a young man coming to visit cousins and other relatives. Always a smile and a joke. A lot of love for everyone. Even though I have not seen him for a while I always knew that marvelous man was just across the border. I know he will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have been in his life.

I love this family! Tom, Vickie, Brett, and my best friend, Brad...and now his beautiful wife and daughters. I think Tom left a great legacy for all of us. Tom, I thank you for all of the good memories for the past 36 years since. I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of days and nights in your home over the years. Basketball in the backyard, soccer and football sidelines, chopping kindling, the never-resting camera, letting us chop down a tree or two in your yard, driving us up to BC, cracking up at the crazy things Brad and I always did, always smiling, always happy, daily pushups, daily reading of your goals, and many many more good memories will always be with me. May we all live in such a manner that we may one day again be in your presence. With love, Griff
