The earliest thing I can remember about you Aunt Julie was your laugh. Even over the phone, one could easily imagine the smile on your face and not resist smiling as well. I am thankful that I followed the urge I had this past summer to find you all once more and will treasure the conversation we had together.

My mom was an amazing person, and I wish I would have been able to spend more time with her. She taught me a lot of things, and I will never forget any of the times that we shared. I miss you Mom. Words can't even describe it. I love you.

It's been almost a year since you passed. Time goes really fast. I remember when you used to wake me up for school, and make me breakfast every morning. I miss those days. I remember being very happy when I learned that you and dad ended up moving here from Tehachapi. I miss you a lot. It's been the hardest year of my life, solely due to the fact that I know you are gone. I've done a lot of dumb things this past year. It's really the only way I know on how to deal with you being gone. I feel so much angst because this isn't suppose to happen to someone of my age. It sucks. I get so jealous when I hear all of my friends talking to their mothers. It's so annoying. I know your still around, and still watch over me, but it's not the same. I need you here. I need your advice. I need you to tell me that everything is going to be okay. I remember having so many different aspirations, and you were always there to back each and every one up. Mom, I sometimes get drunk and cry about you, but I want you to know that everything I do, I do for you. I often wonder if I would make you happy with what I am doing with my life, but I know that anything I do, it could never surpass how awesome you were. Without a doubt, I now realize you were my role model, and I love you with all my heart. I hope to see you one day, Mom. I love you.
