I know you are missed by all whoever knew you. You are especially missed by myself who thrived on our phone calls regarding all types of mechanical malfunctions & their possible cures, the status & cures of our Government & on & on.I sure enjoyed you & your family, as you know we do go back near 70 years. What a great tour.

I didn't know Dan real well but he hauled rock for my addition back in early 90's. I got his card from him and started using Mark and Dan for excavating. Dan reminded me of my Dad a lot and i enjoyed seeing him from time to time or hearing about Dad from Mark. He was a great guy, a hard worker and from the old school. My sincere condolences but like the family am happy he is without pain and in a place of happiness and contentment. Dan Jensen

Farwell to a good friend. We wish we could have known Dan longer. We will remember the times we had. We enjoyed his amazing collection of restored cars and trucks. Dan will remain in our memory. Dan would say, "COME OUT AND GET SOME COUNTRY AIR". Best wishes to the Tabert family.

I've known Dan since he worked at Fred H. Slate back in the 60s when my mom worked in the office. In 1969, I bought my first car from him, a 57 Chev that he had restored. There were numerous contacts over the years related to cars, and when he cleared properties for me. I always thought of Dan as a kind, generous soul; one always willing to lend a hand. He is one of the guys who inspired me in my interest in old cars, whether they are hot rods or restored. We will miss you!

We will miss our long-time friend, Dan. He was not a good patient and hated the misery of illness. We are glad he is free of the cancer. He had a big voice that stood out in a crowd and we were always glad he & Jackie were a part of the party. Dan had many friends who will miss his expertise and friendship. Rest in peace.

When we think of Taberts we think of family and Fords, families in a Ford, movies on New Years Eve, fun and love. Our families grew up together and we will all miss Dan, his smile, his big voice, and his hugs.
