Earnest was born in Grants Pass, Oregon on October 6, 1944 and passed away in Vancouver, Washington on December 20, 2011. Survivors include his children Kevin and Alicia, sister Patricia, brothers William and Walter, mother Esther and grandsons Kyle and Michael. He is prececed in death by his father William Packard, Sr.
