Deleen was a life long friend. We both began our teaching careers on the same day at the same school and the rest of the story was filled with laughing, sons, husbands, dancing, and through it all, Deleen was always positive in everything she did. She was an amazing educator who touched so many lives with her knowledge and skill. There is a huge void in my life and much less brighter without this wonderful friend and graceful lady. I will miss you so, dear friend. Our thoughts and prayers are constant for Keith, Seth and Bryce-You were so loved by this woman-you were her life!

Oh, Deleen, I taught with you in the same district for 15 years, had babies one year younger than each of yours, our boys were in day care at Sharon's and pre-school at MACC together and we shared so many dreams, watched them come true and shared a love for Jesus. I will miss you! Jim, Ryan, Todd and I are soooo sad for your loss Keith, Seth, and Bryce. We know, though, that Deleen's pain is gone and she is with our Savior. We pray that your pain will be bearable and you will center on the wonderful memories that you have of your beloved wife and mother. We are praying!!! Kathy

I also pray that God will give his peace and comfort to Keith, Bruce and Seth. Most of all to Auntie Barb, she and Deleen were so close. I always looked up to Deleen, as we grew up together, our lives got so busy we did not see each other much, but we always knew we loved each other. Get in touch with someone you love before it's too late. I will see her in heaven. She was my hero whom I admired. I can't believe she is gone. Pinky promise, I will be all you told me I can be. Love forever, 'cuz Loretta

My sincere condolences are extended to Keith, her sons, Seth and Bryce, her family and friends.

Deleen and I worked together in the same school district for over 20 years. We were both pregnant at the same time with our second children. I have never met such a wonderful person, so passionate about literacy! I will always remember your positive spirit and your dedication to the children in our district. We always had so much fun talking about our own families and her boys and husband were absolutely number one in her life.

Deleen was an amazing mentor and friend. I have known her since childhood. As a young student at Gaffney Lane, I remember seeing her walk around school pregnant with a big smile on her face. Deleen and I reconnected six years ago when I was hired for my first teaching job in the same district. Deleen mentored me for the first two years of my teaching career. She volunteered her time to help me with literacy in my classroom and in many other areas. I owe my success as a new teacher to Deleen. We became good friends and she always loved talking about Bryce, Seth, Keith, and things like shopping and decorating. I saw her just a few months ago and she was in very good spirits. Deleen was so positive and optimistic with her cancer battle. Deleen will be greatly missed, but her memory will leave a smile on my heart forever.

Precious Deleen...gone too soon! You have been an earth angel and we guess your work here is done. We are so happy that we reconnected at our 30th wedding anniversary renewal ceremony...once again, you stood up as our maid of honor...blessing our rings and toasting to our friendship and for the love of one another. We grieve for your family and send our love and wishes for healing. God Bless you Deleen, Keith, Seth and Bryce.
