Thanks for being a wonderful father-in-law to me for all these last 20 years. You understood my own father's absence and loss to me early in my life and that meant a lot. I will miss our times on the golf course and our conversations about anything and everything. Our home cooked dinners will be the hardest and not having you in your regular chair at our dinner table. Thanks for everything Dad your were a true father and mentor and I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. Your son-in-law Steve

While serving at Tigard Church of God I appreciated getting to know Jeff. He loved his Lord, church, friends and family... He will be missed. But I'm also happy for him that he's now able to be with Marge whom he has greatly missed and enjoying His Savior's presence! "Thank you, Jeff, for welcoming me as a friend."

My Father left me some the greatest gifts in life you can give a child. His strong moral compass, his extreme compassion and sensitivity and respect for others. A giving and kind nature and loyalty to those you love and who love you. We shared a deep respect and love for outdoors and nature. I had some of the best years of his life and mine growing up under his ever present watch and guidence. My love and admiration will never wavier as I know we are bonded forever in his eternal peace with my Mother and our Heavenly Father. God Bless you Dad. Love Tam oxox

While staying with you to help when Mom passed, I got the chance to learn alot about the Dad that was always on the road trucking to provide for his family. I will miss our breakfasts and lunches together and the 8 o'clock phone call every night. I am glad you will be home with Mom, Thommy and Lois Ann for the holidays. I know that is where you wanted to be. Rest in peace Dad, you raised your family well and you will be so missed by everyone you touched. You will be in our hearts (and minds) always. Love and miss you so very much. Marlene & Pat

Poppo was one of the most important men in my life. He was kind, caring, and compassionate about everything and everyone. He gave his all to whatever he was doing, and to anyone that needed him, whether it was Nan, his kids, me, or even a total stranger. Some of my best stories are my times with him, and I thank Nan and Pop for letting me spend so much time in their home. It was a place of love, and it very much shaped me into the person I am today. God blessed this world with my grandparents, and I miss them both dearly.

After years of having to be away from Nan during your trucking career, it's comforting to know that you will never leave her again. Neither of you will be lonely ever again or wonder how you'll get through the day. Thank you for taking such good care of us while we had you, and I'm sorry that I never got to sit around with you and hear all your old stories. I miss you very much, but comforted by the thought that you are happy again and forever.
