Obituary of Martin John Utecht

Martin John Utecht lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, July 17th at the age of 60. He was born June 13, 1950 in Spokane , Washington. He was married February 21, 1976 to his wife Diane. Martin’s family was with him when he passed in his home as he wanted. Martin had a fulfilling life and pursued many of his dreams. As a mechanical engineer and project manager, he was able to travel extensively, including to china, to oversee the construction of his machinery. Martin lived in the Puget Sound area on his sailboat for a period of time and it brought him great joy. He lived a full life and spent time with his many grandkids and his large family. He was a strong force that held up the family with sound advice and loving support. Martin is survived by his wife Diane Utecht, his mother Mary Frey, siblings Gary, Billy, Jeff, Vicky, Bobbie and Jane; children Jason Luckenbach, daughter in law Angie and their two daughters Kambria and Sabrina; Jade Nybro, son in law Aaron and their children Camille, Raymond, Kyle and Conner; Jon Utecht and his children Jon and Ellah; Jacob Martin, daughter in law Sherry and their children Jesie and Alexis.
