Obituary of Hazel Margaret Gralvin
July 23, 1932 – June 5, 2009 Gladstone resident, “Peggy” Hazel Galvin, 76, died on June 5, 2009. Peggy was born on July 23, 1932 in Wisconsin, and was raised in North Dakota. Peggy moved to Deer Park, Washington in her 20’s, and to the Portland area a few years later. Since the 1970’s, Peggy has resided in Milwaukie and Gladstone. For the past few years, she has been working at Fabric Depot in Portland. Some of Peggy’s hobbies include sewing, cooking, and caring for her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her children, Rebecca Conway of Redmond, OR, Marion Bowen of Beaverton, OR, Ralph Bowen and wife Kathy of Vallejo, CA, Becky Geary of Gresham, Jeff Dunbar of the Dalles, Debbie Ames and husband Greg of the Dalles, Vickie Smead and husband Bill of Beaverton, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in remembrance of Peggy to Willamette Falls Hospice, 1505 Division Street, Oregon City, OR 97045.
