Obituary of Ronald M. Oswalt
Ronald (Ron) Milton Oswalt July 13, 1942 – April 29, 2010 Ronald Milton Oswalt, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away on April 29, 2010, at the age of 67. Ron was born to Charles and Bertha (Moser) Oswalt in Portland, Oregon, on July 13, 1942, where he was primarily raised. Ron attended Lincoln University in St. Joseph, Missouri, and later worked for Standard Brands Paint Company. He enjoyed writing, calling bingo at Marquis, reading and knitting. He is survived by his daughters Ronda Oswalt Reitz, Bonnie Marvin, and Penelope Horrace, and a son Kenneth Oswalt. Ron is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. His mother, Bertha Smeltzer died May 3, 2010, four days after Mr. Oswalt’s death. No services are being planned at this time. Memorial Contributions can be made to the M.S. Society.
