Obituary of Megan Nichole Burt-Parisi
Megan Nichole Parisi (Burt) passed away on October 1, 2021 in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 36. About a month after being infected with Covid-19, Megan passed peacefully from fibrosis of the lungs.
Megan is survived by her fiance, Jason “Jay” Parisi of St. Cloud, FL; her three children, Leighton 11, Kinsley 4, and Maverick a newborn; her mother, Pamela Burt of Salem, OR; Her sister, Amanda “Lainey” Burt and brother-in-law Justin Riley of Carlton, OR; and her brother Shawn Evans of Salem, OR. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Evans of Keizer, Oregon.
Megan was born on April 26, 1985 to Pamela Burt and Michael Evans. She attended North Salem High School alongside the class of 2003, but ultimately would graduate in 2016 with her diploma from the Institute of Technology in Salem, OR. 2016 was a big year for her, for in that same year she started dating Jay, after knowing him since about 2009. Megan and Jay were set to get married on 02/21/2021 but postponed the wedding due to Covid-19. For all intents and purposes the family regards them as having been married. Her relationship with Jay would end up relocating her to sunnier places; first San Jose, CA and finally St. Cloud, FL.
Megan was a dedicated wife and mother. While being very nurturing to the children, she also displayed strong leadership skills and ambition. She had a go-getter attitude and there was little anyone could do to talk her out of her goals or beliefs. Megan was especially disciplined in the area of finances, managing not only her household but also using her skills professionally. She was never one to do anything half-heartedly, and had a glowing passion for all that she did in life.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to the Go Fund Me page set up in Megan’s name. That fund is set up to aid in covering medical care costs and expenses going forward in the absence of any life insurance benefits. https://gofund.me/dca547a7
