William F. Mariano (Donald Mastne)
William F. Mariano of Gresham died on August 25 from complications of pneumonia. Born in Sioux City, Iowa he primarily resided in Oregon. William worked as a welder at the Navy Ship Yard in Philadelphia. Sadly, he was injured in 1986 and was left disabled. Even being wheelchair bound he was full of life and loved spending time with his family. Collecting coins, wood working and Nascar were a few of his favorite things. He also had a big heart and loved his animals. William is proceeded in death by parents Lawrence Mastne, Helen Smith (Preston), Fred Smith; brother, Lawrence Mastne Jr.; wife, Patricia Mariano. William leaves behind 2 brothers; Lowell Mastne and Dennis Mastne; 5 children; Timothy Mastne (Wendy Mastne), Barbra O’Brien; Richard Mastne (Denise Cullison); Kenneth Mastne and Jason Mastne; 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Douglass Cemetery.
