Obituary of Iris Hickman
Iris was born in Marion, Ohio to her parents Carl Ray Erwin and Lorna May Erwin and graduated from Elgin High School in 1972. She was a proud mother and grandma, her family meant everything to her and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. She loved the Oregon Coast, traveling, and visited every castle in Europe that she could. She appreciated all the little things in life. She is survived by her children Carla (Dave) Maki and Carrie Hickman; her grandchildren Jayden Hickman, Brady Maki, and Jacob Maki; her mom Joan Erwin; her sister Connie (Mike) O’Dell, her brother Jay (Cindy) Erwin; and her best friend Deb (Jack) Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lorna Erwin and her beloved pets Scooter, T-Bone Jones, and Cricket. There will be no services for Iris. Instead, her family and friends will gather at the Oregon Coast in the spring to celebrate her life.
