Obituary of Albert Hooley
Albert “Ray” Hooley, of Portland, Oregon, died November 17, 2009, at the age of 66. Ray or Cowboy Ray, as he was called by friends and family, was born and raised in Tulare, California. Ray was born to Fred Raymond Hooley and Mabel Jewel Halton on September 15, 1943. He only recently moved to the Portland, Oregon area three years ago with his son, Fred. Ray was a true “Man’s Man” who worked as both a Carpenter and Miner and enjoyed spending time outside fishing, hunting and camping. Ray leaves behind son, Fred Hooley, of Portland; girlfriend, “Dallas”, of Portland; sister and brother-and-law, Almeda and Neal Petty, of Modesto, CA; sister, Barbara Jones, of Fairland, Oklahoma; sister, Susan Teballos, of Modesto, CA; and sister, Sheila Richardson, of Tulare, CA. Ray was preceded in death by his brother, R.E. Hooley, who passed away in November of 2006. There is no service planned for him at this time. Arrangements were made with Crown Memorial Center in Milwaukie.
